: Are Paid email site or free email site best for writers credibility

I have not been published yet except on Hub and Gathering and a small booklet, but I am working on the sixth revision of my novel. I already belong to a few free email accounts and I was thinking of changing one of them to a new one, more than likely a gmail account.
However I was wondering when I write to editors and such about my novel, whether getting a paid email account would be better. What are all your suggestions on this matter?

I have been using g-mail for most of a year now and got to admit im my opinion it is the best and the safest free e-mail I ever had. Not one single spam mail have landed in my account and no scammers are getting through either. This I believe is for one simple reason, they cannot get hold on my g-mail address unless i give it out myself.
I also tried few years back to have a paid e-mail account, which I had to close down for security reasons after half a year the the account provider turned out to be a scammer who sold your address to anybody interested. So if you ask me, you will be just as well of with g-mail as with any paid e-mail account.

I was thinking of opening another gmail account, either with my initial and my last name or a pen name. I have to think of one that lends credibility to my writing mystery, suspense, and Christian fantasy, something exciting and does not make you think of cutey little creatures.

Well I think that will be your biggest problem, lol, as I don't think it will be a problem getting a second g.mail account. I think you can have up to 5.

My Yahoo mail is full of spam. With gmail, all I have to do is to put it in the spam folder and press delete and I do not have that much spam there.
