Some one once says once you get on a diet you're on it for the rest on your life. Like you can't stop watching your weight or you'll be fat again? What do you think?

Many people may say like that.in my opinion the fact is like that.i got on a diet before, during that time i was very thin but not very healthy.i hold that state about 2 years that i was at the college.at that time grils preferred someone and lost weight for the one. After i was not on a diet,i was fat again, especially more fat than before.so your idea is very right,at least i agree what you said. Now i am a little overweight because of no diet, but i am healthier now than at the college.so once you start dieting, you will be on it for the rest of your life.

Well people should first stick with a healthy diet, so by limiting sweets and junk food in the end you will be much more healthier. That sort of diet is something that is good to stick by but if you are dieting to lose weight then make sure that you exercise as well. If all you do is eat less then you might lose the weight but if you eat your normal routine then you would just as easily gain it back. If you exercise for a good amount each day then you will permanently keep that weight off.

I have this same experience. I was on diet for 3 months, lost around 10 kilos via exercising and having a salad diet. But when the holiday season like xmas and new years parties came along, my diet was a disaster. Once you lose the diet, when you begin eating all the delicious stuff that taste better than your salad, you will start seeing the fats again. Best way to deal is to eat in moderation and just avoid the sugar drinks and fried stuff and you should be able to maintain and lose weight. I am back on my diet but I tend to give myself some slack so that I will not lose control again.

Keeping the weight off usually means changing your eating habits so it isn't so much the diet. Sometimes like someone mentioned before, you just need to eat a little less. Or maybe just cut out some high calorie foods. So no I don't think you have to be on any special diet for life. Just try making some changes in your life.

well,I haven´t never been on REAL diet, but after having kids I have started to watch my weight more often than I use to do,don´t know why! I don´t feel myself too heavy or that I should lose weight, but something makes me watch my weight nowdays more often,so maybe it is true for some point that once you´re on diet you´re always on diet:)

I know a lot of people who went on a diet but their determination to maintain it went puff after only quite sometime. Dieting takes a lot of discipline so only those who have the willpower succeed in doing it. Those who have associated their happiness on eating and don't have enough support group fails. I guess it all depends on the person doing it.

It really depends on the person. If everyone ate right in the first place then there would be no need for diets. For me, I know I need to cut down on the size of my meals. That will be forever. Once I reach my goal weight then I need to be able to maintain it. So, for some of us, diets are forever.
