I am really fustrated. I had a few hours to spare today so I decide to sew, 40 mins adjusting the bobbin still not resolve. Anyone have problems getting the correct tension on the bobbin or is it just me? I have Kennmore, and it seems I am always adjusting the bobbin. It just takes all the joy out of my sewing.

Whenever I find that I can't get my bobbin adjusted (for one reason or another) and start losing patience, I take it to the local Hancock Fabric store and one of the ladies is usually able to help me resolve the issue. :)

I don't have a Hancock in my area, but I think the Discount Fabric has a technician so I might take it there to be service.

I usually am able to adjust my tension pretty easily depending on fabric. I would take it in and see if there is some problem with the machine that is causing this. I know this is probably not your problem but for me, I have found when i have had problems that I "think" are the tension, it often is because I have threaded wrong...missed that little wire loop that connects to the tension. its actually a pretty easy thing t o do. If not that then I'd be taking the machine in....it should not be this frustrating for you.

You might need to clean the well of the bobbin. Or you might consider taking it in to be serviced. They can clean and oil and adjust it for you. The vibration of sewing can change the tension.
