WOW! That is such a strange thought. 4 years ago I knew nothing about Chiari. Now I have a wife and 3 children with the disorder. My wife and youngest daughter has had brain surgery to help with the symptoms, but the truth is you have to learn to deal with the pain of this disorder most of the time. How do you deal with the pain?

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that your family is suffering from this illness. On Extreme Makeover Home Edition the other week there was a family on there getting a new house. The wife and three daughters had this illness. I was in tears watching the show. I know my responses really has nothing to do with your discussion on how to deal with the pain. But I just wanted to tell you that you and your family are in my prayers.

Thanks Speedy. But you are wrong. your response has a lot to do with the discussion. The only way to be able to live with any kind of pain or trial is through prayer.

In actuallity CM is more prevelent than most people think. The only problem is the diagnosis requires an MRI which is very expensive. That being said, there are people who need to be diagnosed and at the very least know how to handle the symptoms. The success rate for the surgery itself is not very high compared to other surgeries.

All you can do is stick by them, God will handle the rest, You just half to be patience, and ask God to give you strength to handle this, and make them well, god does answer prayers, he might not answer right away but he is always on time to you believe that? It is true.
