Hi!All The first impression is very important. It's necessary to wear a suit to take a job interview. It's better to give a refreshing look. That show you are full of energy. It's the most important for you to keep confident during the job interview. If you are not confident about yourself, you can find a friend who works for the company to get some information about it. You can also go to the internet to get the information about the company and its employment.

That's really strange to do it. It seems you've done something wrong to the person who is conducting an interview. In my own opinion, it will reflect that you are not confident enough to be interviewed.

i've totally agreed of what they've said and also one thing. when my father was still alive, he keeps on telling us that when someone interview you, you have to look the person straight to their eyes so that they will not just hear your voice but see you as well:-)

Hi taskata, yes you are right the first impression is very important and you must wear formal, I remember for me the first interview was very difficult I was fearing from many things I started to think what if he asks me about the expected salary what I'll say and what if he asked me about the times if I can stay till a late time at night what I must say, how do I reply tell the truth or say what I must tell him to be sure that I'll win the job, because you always has 2 replies for each question one is the truth and the other is the right answer that you must say, anyway now I have more experience since I'm working for 9 years now and I have attended so many interviews in my life. Good Luck.

i still remember my first job interview few years ago with a telecommunication company. I was nervous as hell and i didn't know nuts about my future employer . I read some books in Kinokuniya book store titled :TOP 100 questions Asked In An Interview and how to answer them, wow i did learn a lot.Making a background sweep of the company was the priority, then dressing and body language . 5 days later it was time for my fated interview.I could have swore i heard darth vader in my head - may the force be with you my son he said.. i didn't reply :P I was geared up with a coat, tie and necessary accessories like the next contestant of the Apprentice and there i was. Shaking hands with the 3 people in the board room and making eye contact is very important. also the book stated , never shake your legs during an interview! lol . conclusion: I got the job and the interview didn't make my head explode coz the interviewer was very nice and made me feel comfortable. The research i made about the company paid off too during the meeting. I was asking more questions than they can ask . lol sorry for the long post ,thanks for reading ^O_o^

well.. normally what i do is.. i go to check up about the company on the internet.. read about it... like everything. make sure u know what the company does, sell, buy and every lil' detail would be great... try to remember it of course... then look up for question that are normally asked by employer in your field.(for etc:engineering or accounting).. then create your best answer... write it down if possible and then memorize it. even better... just be prepared.. don act like your memorizing from a script... steady... n most of all be confident...
