I would like to know how safe people feel in our country about voicing their opinions. If there was a controversial subject would you feel comfortable stating your position, even if you knew it would not be received very well? How free do you think we really are to express ourselves? For instance now it is safe to state that cigarette smoking is dangerous but this took a long time to accomplish. Was this feeling about second hand smoke dangers, as easy to express in 1960?
