Do you always brush your feet off before getting into bed? Do you wear slippers or socks so that your feet doesn't track dirt into bed? Does your spouse track dirt onto the sheets? We have stone tile through out the house, so it's almost impossible not to pick up some dirt on the feet. It's just one of the hazards of living with this type of flooring. And, no matter how much you sweep or mop, the dust is still on the floor. I hate laying in dirt and sand, so I always try to brush my feet off before getting into bed. My little kid is just the opposite. She is always forgetting to brush her feet off before climbing into bed. So, she spends half an hour nightly complaining about the junk she has tracked onto her bed spread. Hopefully she will pick up better habits as she grows up. If we had carpets anywhere in the house, I'm sure this wouldn't even be an issue. Maybe I'll put that on my wish list for Christmas.
