Do you have messy closets?

Is your home perfectly organized, but your closets are messy? Or, are you the type of person that has everything perfectly organized and in place, including your closets?
Most times my home is very well organized and maintained. All except for the closets. For some reason, my closets end up as the dumping ground for everyone's little left over projects. I really need some type of system to get my closets organized.
I guess I really shouldn't worry too much. It's not as if guests ever go through my closets looking for stuff. In fact, if you came into my home, you might never suspect the closets weren't organized. Just don't look in the closets! And, if you do, be sure to wear a helmet, cause I'm sure something will fall out.

Lol I just remembered my closet when I read this. My mom scolded me because my clothes where scattered there as if for sale. Everything is messy but I clean it up once in a while. I just can't maintain it's neatness especially if I'm looking for a clothe on the very bottom while I'm in a hurry.

There are times when I really become a clean-freak. When this happens, everything around me becomes very clean and organized, including my closets. But when I'm busy or in a hurry, then everything just looks like war broke. *LOL*
That's just me, but of course in a month it's around half the month my closet is clean, and half of it it's disorganized.
But I do try to keep things at a minimum, I don't like dumping old things too much, I try to keep them out. I think it's the 'having too many stuff' that keeps our homes messy.

yes i do and that's why our nanny complains to me all the time. i try to fix it sometimes but usually i dont.i guess im a stubborn person and i need to do something about it if i want to improve in life. my closet is not organized. i dont know i dont mind it at all. but im getting old and an old man should mature a little bit and that includes his closet.

Haha. I'll be careful if I ever get to visit your house.
I personally find my closet messy. Other people might not think so. I have too many clothings inside my small closet. I definitely need a bigger closet.
In side my small closet, i have to squeeze in all my dresses, pants, tops, skirts and etc. Even though, you wouldn't find something falling out, it's quite a messy sight especially for me. LOL

No, its not perfectly organized because it's hard to keep it that way with my son and husband around. Nothing is ever in its right place 100% of the time. I give the closets a good rearranging at least once a month or every two monthly - I'm forced too or else I can't find the clothes/jackets etc that I need.
Once a year I go through and pull out all the stuff we don't use or have outgrown and give them away. My side of the closet is much more tidier than my husbands sid LOL

I'm trying to get more organised but my cupboards are always a mess and so is the rest of my house lol. I moved recently and I have another wardrobe to have put together which will give me some more space a lot of stuff is still in boxes. I need to start putting things I don't need on eBay to make room.

My house isn't that super organized but I do make sure that I maintain a house that looks neat and tidy, that as much as possible stuffs are in the right places. As for our closets, I also maintain to try to keep it organized. But my husband just have this habit of making a big mess. He only needs to take a shirt but the neatly folded clothes end up in a big pile of mess.
When I was still unmarried, my closet was usually a big mess. Sometimes I don't even want to open it. My sisters always complain that I should try to keep everything organized. Because I usually end up, spending a few minutes just trying to sort out through the big pile of clothes, looking for a favorite shirt.

My closets are a jungle... Well, my whole room is xD I have no idea why but when I get myself to organize my clother every month or two it is all messed up in a week-_-' Just like my desk. So I get depressed (:P) and take a bow never to clean there again... until I am finally unable to find anything in there and have to organize it again;)

For the most part I would say that my closets aren't that bad. To me anyways. The clothes all all hung up and of course a few things have fallen to the floor but oh well, they'll get hung again. Oh my guest closet is kinda of a mess but I never have guests stay that would need a closet and I hardly ever look in there unless I need my suicase so I guess it just gets forgotten. My linen closet is very organized though. It makes it easier to pull out sheets and towels that way.

My closet always seems messy. My husband went out to home depot and even bought a huge closet organizer, but for some reason I still don't like spending time making my closet pretty. Too busy with the kids and their mess. Anyway I've heard the best way to deal with too much stuff is to get rid of one item everytime you add a new item. That could keep the clutter down. we'll see if I ever actually do it.

My closet is really messy. Personally I like to think of it as messily organized. I have it in such a way that I know where all my clothes are in the closet but other people would not understand my method. Its hard to explain but this is really the reason I don't bother to organize my closet. If I say that I actually do organize it, then it will end up getting messy a few days later!

LOL. Mine are the same way. Everything that dosent have a place or is laying around ends up in the closet. When we moved we found alot of things we were "missing". And yes wear a helmet...you never know what might fall out!! LOL

My closets are somewhat organized and somewhat messy. Depending on what closet you look into. LOL. My closet upstairs in the hallway is a disaster. The batheroom and the kids are clean and mine is OK

My closets are a diseaster area. i moved from a larger apartmentinto one smaller and hence a smaller closet with stuff piled in and ready to whack me on the head should I dig in there too far.the rest of the house is fairly clean but my closet is a real mess.
