I prefer hypermarkets. Why? Because serviseis on the same lever in them and hypermarkets are cheaper. I only go to supermarkets when I'm near by and I need to buy something but even then I prefer local stores with some nice people to talk to;P

Yes I'd also like to know what a hypermarket is. I'm from the US and I've never heard of the term so in that case I guess I'd prefer a supermarket ( I call them grocery stores). There are about five supermarkets within a three-five mile radious of my house and I shop at all of them. I shop at Safeway, Foodland, Times Supermarket, and Don Quixote.

Hum....I don't know what a hypermarket is. I go shopping early in the morning while the kids are at school and there are mostly old people like me there and none of us are hyper LOL. Anyway, I live in the middle of nowhere and the closest store is 26 miles. I go shopping to Sam's Club once a month and to WalMart once a month and that's totally it. I know, I'm boring........what can I say, I hate to shop.

My wife neither goes to supermarket or hypermarket. She just goes to nearby BUY-N-SAVE market which is a medium size store, but more than 10% off on MRP.She goes once in a week to do shopping and my son accompanies her. They have a facility of door delivery of the materials.

I prefer hypermarket as there are more options there. And it is a exciting place to go on weekend when we have enough time to go shopping in the hypermarket with so many different items on the racks. That is the better place I love to go for shopping with my partner.

I actually didn't knwo what was the differnet, but I read on of your comment and I know now.So I prefer hypermarket for grocery, becuase everything is together and whne I need some pills and napkins and fruit, everything is togther, that is what i like. But for clothes i liek much more supermarket, becuase in big store, I just cannot shopping, it is just so crowded with clothes and it is like one big mess.

I prefer hypermarket, and I usually spend a whole day shopping! I like to find a variety of products and spend time choosing what looks, smells, or works better. On the contrary in supermarkets you find 2 or 3 kinds of the same product and that's it. Additionally, it is really small and you can't wonder around in the halls since it's not convenient.
