How often do you find really good deals on shoes?

Once I found a pair of casual shoes for less than five dollars at my favorite store. They were leopard print fabric slides and felt so comfortable that I wore them through my entire pregnancy.
Not sure why such a cheap pair of shoes would end up giving so much use. They weren't really cheap, just clearance priced. I think the store had one pair left, so they had to practically give them away. Guess that's not the same as going to the cheap store and buying cheap shoes.
When was the last time you got a really good deal on shoes? How often do you find really good clearance shoes? Do the shoes provide lots of use or fall apart after just a little wear?

the best deal i got for a pair of shoes was about 5 months ago and i bought a pair of sketckers on ebay for $8.thes shoes were so nice and oh so comfortable too and in the store they wanted $49 for them.pattie

That is an incredible deal.... for all of you, I have a service that will change the shoe game.

When I am looking for new shoes, I always check my favorite stores and see if any of them are having any good sales, which they usualy are and that's were I start looking.

I have one favorite store in town which has some acceptable price and quality of shoes that I like. I'm not a person who often buy new shoes but when I need I will just go there than try to find the shoes which are matches with me in term on size, quality and price.
