What kind of diapers do you use?

Do you use nappies, or do you use store bought - or those ones that are in between? If you use store bought what brand do you choose?

We use walmart brand diapers. They are called parents choice. They work pretty good and they are almost half the price of Huggies brand diapers. We've used them for all 3 of our kids.

I get mine at wal-mart and I usually get either white cloud or parent's choice. Never could understand why a person had to have the top line of diapers. These work as good as huggies or pampers or luvs.

I wouldn't get the more expensive Pampers for the same reason I don't get Parent's choice - my baby gets rashes. Parent's choice is made so cheaply, he pees and poops out of it and gets rashes. Pampers uses so many chemicals like PC that he also gets those rashes. He doesn't with Huggies.

When we were young, we used the cloth diapers. I think we got them at Woolworth. I do not know if there was a K-Mart in that part of Saskatoon we lived in, or it could have been Sears. We did not keep the receipts and it was over thirty years ago. We did buy Pampers once when we were have a family reunion and a picnic in the Park when the boys were about four or five months over but I did not like them, being used to dunk them in the toilet, wash them off, and put them separately in the laundry, not throwing them in the trash.

We only use diapers at night and during naptime now. We only use Huggies Supreme because they are the only ones that he can wear for that long without getting a rash. Before he was potty trained, we used Pampers during the day sometimes. I liked the way they fit, and as long as he wasn't left in one too long, we never had any problems with them. We just had to make sure that he was wearing a Huggies Supreme before he went to bed. We tried all kinds of diapers. We never liked the parent's choice, and he was allergic to Pampers Cruisers. The problem we had with most other brands was leaks. We used the Target brand on him when he was a newborn. Then he started growing a bunch taller and not getting any chubbier, and they quit working. They were too short, so we had to move up sizes too fast. It made them become not cost effective.

I prefer Huggies. Here they are cheaper than Pampers and usually cheaper than Luvs. They are also the ONLY brand my 2 1/2 year old can wear that don't cause a rash. I tried Luvs for my 11 1/2 month old (sorry, not ready to say "almost 1 year old" LOL) because having two boys in identical but different sized diapers got a little confusing. But the Luvs seemed to leak out in the back really bad if you know what I mean. Right now he's being spoiled with the more expensive Huggies Supremes partly because the regular Huggies were on sale and his size sold out before we got there and partly because his antibiotic gave him a rash and so we wanted good diapers on him.

I'm the opposite of you. I waited so long for him to be one years old - he will be at the end of November. One reason is I was never the girl who cooed over babies. That's not to say for my own baby, I was honoured to book passage for him, provide comfy transport for him for nine months and then deliver him to the world (after two days of pitocin induced labour - he was really comfy). But I won't miss him being small. There are so many things that can happen to him, they are way too delicate and small. Now I can't wait until he's talking and being silly back to me. I'm a kid at heart so we'll have lotsov fun - dancing, running around, singing silly songs and such. I can't wait until his first birthday! And second and third! If I could've I would've done nappies since he's rash prone...

i use huggies on my 11 month old son, they dont leak and dont give him nappy rash, they are a little more pricy than other brands, but the quality is far better, and the cute winnie the pooh pictures on the front are great to

Huggies aren't too bad if you have coupons or buy in bulk My baby doesn't get a rash with these, which to me is important. I like Huggies too.

I'm all about the Huggies. I used them on all three kids. I've never had any problem with leakage and I like the fact that I signed up for offers on their website and they send me great coupons every other month. We've graduated to Pull Ups now, I'll be glad when this last one is potty trained for good.
