a big explotion happened during the release of the film "da vinci code". does this issue bothers your faith? or you do have a strong hold of it? da vinci made many unexplainable clues about his painting "The Last Supper". why do people do such things like this? are they not bothered by their conscience? and what is the purpose of making and releasing such unimportant issues like this. too bad.

it doesnt bother me a bit, but i admit the book is very interesting. i still have my faith intact. the good effect the book had on me was i became interested in history :) as for my faith, i dont care if Jesus was just human, made up by the catholic church, etc. what's important for me is that the Lord is real, I believe in his teachings and I still let Him dictate my life.

if that is the case, well good for you. but why is it that people tend to make such issues like this? don'nt they realize the effect of this to the society?

i've watched the film and read the book. i've also read some of dan brown's novel. they are very interesting and i've enjoyed reading them. any of it doesn't bother me though. for me, as long as i believe in God, nothing else matters. i think it depends on the person on how she will let herself affected by such things. if one's faith or belief is easily swayed, then she doesn't have a strong faith, she is not loyal. but if one has a firm belief and a strong faith, whatever comes to her she will endure and she won't let her faith be ruined. i think dan brown didn't meant any harm in doing the novel. he is a historian and he just wanted to share the world what he discovered in the history. some parts of the book are fiction though and its just up to the readers what to believe and what not.

i think that's fiction. because i was curious and i searched for some paintings of the Last Supper and the hand with a knife wasn't there. this is what i'm talking about. its up to the readers to choose what to believe. a reader should also try to research things about what he read just to prove if its true or not. ^__^

I am convince this has nothing to do with conscience. Maybe they really believe it to be true. In exposing it they even believe they have helped mankind discover something which has to be discovered. Actually what they exposed should not alarm believers. I am convince that to a non-believer explanation is almost impossible. But to a believer explanation is not necessary. I'm not bothered by it. It even confirmed to me that all the things that we've been talking about and believing all make sense because they all existed and not just a product of one's imaginations.

true that the film made a big issue on religion and faith....but,if you have a great hold of your faith,,..nothing would ever persuade you... don't you easily believe to these kind of issues...before believing such...research first and seek for the real...
