Do you have some food allergies? If so, what kind of food is that? How did you know that you were allergic to some foods that you eat?
Fortunately, I do not have allergies to any kinds of food. Some people say that they are able to know that they are allergic to some foods if ever they get sick or skin rashes when eating those foods.
How about you? Have you been advised by a doctor or dietician regarding food allergies? If so, what kind of food that you usually avoid to eat?

Perhaps, you can consult a dietician so that you will be recommended appropriately. There are some reasons why we get some allergies to a particular food and the best solution here is to consult a physician or dietician, so that you will be prescribed and guided with your diet.
Have a nice day!

I have had food allergies since I was a kid, I am allergic to oranges and anything that has orange in it, orange coloring, my worst one though is A-1 steak sauce, I have been in the hospital many of times over that until the Dr's figured out what I was having a reaction to so that I really have to stay away from. Most of the time if I have a reaction to something I will get like softball size hives on me and I will have to have a shot to stop the reaction. And then there are alot of different kinds of spices also. So when I go out to eat I have to be really careful of what I am getting. And then some stuff will make me throw up for a few hours til it is out of my system and then I am alright.

Really? Have you ask your doctor why you have an allergic reaction when eating oranges? Actually, I am fond of eating oranges and that is one of my favorite fruits. I like it because it contained a lot of vitamin C when compared to other fruits. Take care you always!

Well, before i was allergic to chicken... but after a few years... i outgrew it... then when i was working abroad... i had this hives attack... meaning i would have hive at only at night... they are very itchy but even if i scratch and scratch... i would get any wound... which is great but the itchy feeling was so unbearable...
I went to the hospital because i came to a point that my lips became very swollen from the hives... the took blood samples to determine what is causing this hive attack but the hospital never found out...
It was only when i started experimenting on cutting down some of the food and liquid that i usually take... that i found out that i was allergic to too much caffeine... so i cut down on coffee, tea, and even soda...

That is okay my friend. Maybe you can talk to a dietician for proper recommendation and suggestion as well.
Perhaps, you can possibly eat the aforementioned foods above, provided if it is in a moderate or small amount.

I am very fortunate to not have any food allergies. At least none that I have discovered. I have never been tested for food allergies. I do not have any allergies at all that I know of. I am happy for that. So far neither of my kids do either. *knock on wood*

I had allergies with crabs and shrimps, don't know why! I used to eat these foods before and really love them. But from time to time my allergies doesn't come out, probably if I don't eat much. I remember my eyes was itching then became swollen also my face, and had difficulty in breathing. I took antihistamine tabs for medication.

My sister also had allergies to shrimps and crabs. I do not know why these foods are quite common as a source of allergy.
Have you talked to a dietician why this is happening?

Hi braveheart07! I guess, I am the lucky ones who is not allergic to almost any food so far. I can eat all kinds of food but of course, I tend to be picky sometimes especially when I don't like the smell. And it is a good thing that I have no allergies whatsoever because I really love to eat. haha.. Take care and have a nice day, my friend.

I love eating seafoods especially crustaceans, but then lately I developed allergies on eating it especially prawns and crabs. After having some prawn for dinner I felt itchiness on my lips, then some red spots on my hands. I didn't go for medical consultation but I just avoid eating it so that It'll not happen to me again.
