today is halloween in my place. we go to church and pray for our dead relatives, my relatives went to the cemetery clean up the grave and offer flowers and light some candle with prayers. as for me, i just prayed for them becuase i have work in the hospital in this special day, its sad but im no longer the free man who just go wherever i want to go because im an employee now and must work. yesterday, i have a good time watching kids in their halloween costume at S.M mall. i saw many kids and toddlers who came in spooky attire and join the contest. the contest is amuzing. how about you? how did you spend your time november 1 an 2? this halloween holidays?good day to everybody!

Hello Joshboz, Because of the time difference, today is Halloween in the USA. I'm wearing my Happy Halloween outfit. I didn't dress up in a costume, 'cause I'll be a the office. But, I love Halloween, so I didn't want to not participate in some way. Tonight I'll light a candle, and say a prayer for friends and family who have passed on. I don't bother buying any candy, because in 14 years we've never had a Trick or Treater at our house. We live too far out in the country. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the contest. It's a fun holiday that I look forward to each year. Happy Halloween to one and all!

hi ladyluna. what outfit did you where. let me guess maybe a she wolf? hehehe. wow your house must be really far from the rest and that you dont have much neighbor or kids loitering around your community. in here there are some kids that will knock and ask for candy but they dont where costume anymore because most of them are poor. anyway, have a good day. yes, prayers are needed most this day. good day to you.

It is not quite six pm yet here on Oct. 31st is when the little kids come trick and treating. I am a Calvinist and we call it Reformation Day, and this morning I was at our Church school where we had a short Reformation Day speech about Martin Luther. My husband who is not and believes in Halloween and reads and watches Harry Potter movies, loves Ghost Whisperer, will be out giving away the candies. I will be at choir practice. I have no idea what will happen tomorrow. It will be an ordinary day as usual, but some time this week or next, I will have to get a new dress.

It was the first year that i was giving some candy to the kids. We bought our house in april, so we didnt know how much kids would come to our house. We are living near a school so we made about 100 little bags of candies. Our neighboor told us that when she was giving candy, she was giving between 100-150 bag, depending of the years. Halloween came, kids came and ... what a big surprise. Only 41 kids came to our house lol. We are still gonna give candies next year, but we are not making 100 bag again. And the thing is, I have a pregnancy diabetes, so i can't eat candies lol. My boyfriend is gonna be sick I think eating all of the candies lol

On October 31st here in Canada we spent it like the Americans do with jack-o-lanterns, trick or treaters, costumes, etc. This year we took our daughter for her first year ever of trick or treating. She was a cute little Tigger! PurpleTeddyBear.

That sounds like a beautiful way to celebrate the Halloween holiday. I think that just goes to show that Halloween can be celebrated in any way a person wishes. Thanks for sharing your day!
