I just watched the movie The Pursuit of HappYness! It really moved me and I was touched by the Zeal and passion to succeed to in life. Sometimes, even I wonder how would I be if I didn't have a job, a place to stay, no brothers and no sisters. Just moving from one place to another, and running around for shelter. Will Smith did a fabulous job. And the story was well told and presented. Overall it was a good work.

I agree with you too on that and what hit me most is that it is indeed a true story. Ths proves that once you have the mind and desire to achieve something if you work at it and keep remembering your goal and dreams you can indeed make it.

Yes, especially I was in tears when he tells his son, never believe anyone when they say you can't. You need to protect your dreams. :) That was my emotional point.

The Pursuit of Happyness is one of the movies that i was dying to watch ever since its release but unfortunately I could not make it. After reading all the reviews here and other sites, I am going to watch this movie at least this weekend for sure. I am getting even more anxious to watch this movie after all the reviews here.

I watched that wiht my husband and kids a couple weeks ago and we all loved it!! Its an amazing movie and yes Will Smith did do an incredible job...what i really love is the fact that the REAL person (the one Smith played) is a true rags to riches story BUT he was also in the very final scene which I htought was totally cool :-)

Yes, the final scene was just amazing and I was just waiting to see him break out. When he gets his confirmation, I thought he would just break out now, now, but it was so subtle, he was hiding his tears and emotions, and that expression came out so well. Was lovely.

Zeal! That's a word you don't read in a description often. I think that Will smith can do no wrong! This movie was a really good one. Obviously based on a true story and the book about the real story. However, the movie itself was an excellent view of the book and the life of this man. Will Smiths son did a great job as his son in the movie too!

I have never seen The Bridges of Madison County. I tried to read the book, but I just couldn't get into it. I'll have to check out the movie.

It will certainly make it in 100 best movies in my list and that too at a very high rank!!! i loved this movie a lot, its like totally fantastic. The spirit show cased hits you somewhere inside. No matter who you are and no matter what you feel, you will certainly feel happy and have a new zest for life after you have watched this movie. Frankly speaking its not got so much of a story or anything to spice it up, its very stright forward and simple but still the screenplay adn script is so fabulous that it has a very deep impact. The acting by will smith is unmatched!!! Has to be one of the best movies of all times.

I totally agree with you. The story was very simple yet very nice. We can say, yea, it's a thing we've seen or known many times in the past. But how many times, can you present it perfectly and bring the message forward. When I see him, I do relate it with myself a little if not a lot. I'm passionate about what I'm doing in life, but haven't reached "there" yet. And it is tough to pursue your passions and materialise your dreams.
