How long can you float on the water?

Hi!All
I used to swim with my friend every summer. When we felt tired, we would compete that who would float longer on the water. Every time, I would won. And he would treat me with a bottle of water. When I strentched my body on the water, I felt very relaxed. Sometimes I could float on the water for a few hours.
