Do you spend too much money on groceries?

Last week we spent over $100 for "healthy" groceries at one of our local grocery stores. And, the sad part is, the groceries only last a week. Today we decided to shop at Walmart and got much better deals. We spent $25 less for the same stuff we had purchased the week before. Actually we ended up getting more groceries for less money. I had forgotten what good deals they have. Where do you shop for the best grocery deals?

i shop at a nearby place called food basics, it doesnt include a whole lot of variety in their products nor does it give out bags, but it is cheaper to shop there than anywhere else. but to shop 'healthy' it is pretty expensive.

Just this afternoon I went to one of the biggest supermarket for shopping and spent sixty RMB for food. It is a large sum for me to pay that much for food at one time, but it will last some days before I go and buy some more another day.

I usally go to Super Walmart and to Sav-a-lot. Mostly Sav-a-lot. They aren't as packed as Walmart and also cooler.

Walmart is definitely the best place for quality groceries. The closest regular grocery store we have is a P&C (they have the same parent ompany as Big Bear and Bi-Lo I believe). If I spend $100 there it will cover 3-4 days! I only buy the basics there like milf and bread and things I an't buy to far in adane. Te Walmart Super Center is almost an hour from here so it's a major trip. Another store that is still quite a distance but has low prices is Aldi's. I don't care for the quality of their stuff but it is cheap. I can do a weeks worth of CHEAP meals for $50. I wouldn't dare do any more shopping than that there as their stuff seems to spoil faster. The best I have locally is a little family run grocery store. It's a little run down and doesn't have a huge selection but it works and doesn't cost too much, $100 would probqably cover a week and a half at least of normal budget meals plus a few extras.

We do most of our grocery shopping at Aldis or wal-mart. We spend 50.00 a week. That includes paper products and laundry supplies. The prices have really been going up. We try hard to use less meat and are eating a lot more rice, pasta and beans. These are cheap and very filling. Tomorrow I am making pork fried rice from some left over pork steak from last nights dinner. We use all our leftovers. Waste not want not as my grandma used to say.

We spend like 250$ for two and half weeks, but we are only two.But now they have opne Walmart here and it is finaly finish, so I hope we are goona safe some money on the groceries. Also last time I had some coupons and they didn't want to take it, but now I write a letter to manager and and she said it is ok to use them there, so I hope I am gonna save some money with that too.
