How do you fragrance your home?

Before my little kid was born, I loved burning candles. But, now that she's at the curious stage, I can't afford to do so. I'm just so afraid that she would try to touch one of the burning candles. Besides I have very curious cats too. So, most times I simply use potpourri or Glade Plug ins. It's not as good as candles. But, it's not that bad. What do you use to add fragrance to your home?

I've thought about using those, but wasn't sure whether or not they were any good. Might try them out. Thanks for the idea.

they smell really nice they just dont last as long as a candle i would say it last maybe about 3 days maybe i guess it depends on how long you burn it

I only use potpouri - I got introduced to it when I was spending a few days with a friend in the US - when I expect guests. The floor detergent that I have smells good which is what we use once a week. Nothing like a clean place though that does not require any fragrance.

We have the Airwick things that spray every 9 minutes I think. I'm not sure. You can set it on one of three different speeds. That's what we normally use to fragrance our house. If I'm cooking something in the crock pot, or baking, I will turn off the Airwick and just let the yummy smells from my kitchen go all through out my house.

I use incense coils sandal-wood to fragrance my home. I love the smell, so good. This is the kind that is often found used in hotels.

We use the spray air fresheners. As long as it's a tropical scent, my hubby is OK with it. Guess it reminds him of home since he's from The Bahamas.

I still use scented candles and place them high enough so that he can't reach them. I mostly put them on at night though when he is asleep or when he is at school. Now and then I use Glade Plug ins as well.

I use candles and a fusion lamp. I have a little toddler but she not that curious. But try to place it somewhere she can not reach. And your right, the plug ins are not as good as the candles.

Hi I love to burn candles too.But since I came from germany I counld not find that one I liked and others i buy here didn't smell so much when you are burning them.I am still burning them but not really for fragrance, instead of that I use esence sticks or sessantial oils.I think they are the bestone, beucase they give your home really good smell for very long time. Also I would use sometimes a sprays, but they are not so affective.
