For those of you who told me that I was probably better of being fired from my last job, you were right! I have been at my second new job about 3 weeks. This job is so much better. It isn't in the profession that I originally wanted, but it is still something that I enjoy and I can relate to. I am an administrative assistant for the Youth Activities Department at a Temple. I enjoy what I do. My boss is great, and the hours are good. I haven't been in myLot much lately because I've been adjusting to my new schedule, but I will probably start coming back once in a while. I look forward to catching up and seeing how everyone here has been.

I always say work at something you love. I hope you have many happy hours at your work and being in charge is so much better than being told what to do all the time, isn't it? Just let us know what it is like and what hours that you work. I always hated it when I worked and they wanted things done a certain way which took way too long and was counterproductive in the first place. I gather as an administrative assistant that you have lots of responsibilities and that is one of the reasons you love your new job. Best of luck at it!

A Pets Hotel? You board animals? That does sound like an enjoyable job, if that's what it is.

I'm so pleased for you. I know they say it takes 12 months to properly settle into a new job, so you know what you are doing, comfortable, and all that stuff but I have a feeling this will be better and better. It's one of those times that an opportunity has presented itself and you keep opening doors and now you have the prize. Good on you and alll the best. :)

Wonderful. I guess that is why we all should occasionlly take the road less traveled. We might find something new. Good luck.

That is so great miami, I'm very happy for you, and I knew that things happen for a reason! That sounds like a good job you have found, we wish you the best! And if you like to work with youngsters that's even better! I myself worked in a teen rehab center, and I found that I was well suited for working with youngsters, and I enjoyed it, and may return to work in a facility eventually!

I wish you the best of luck in your new job, miamilady, and hope it turns out to be all that you would hope for. The fact that you like it so much is a good sign. We can never be at our most productive if we are in a job that we really do not like.
