I don't cut my family members' hair, but my brother-in-law used to help cut my hair when I was young in my twenties as he he was fond of the job of a barber's in his spare time and he could do a good job having my hair nicely cut. But now he has given this hobby of his and I have my own favorite barber lady. She is a great barber.

My aunt used to cut mine when I was younger. She used to do a great job on it too. :-)

you are so great to have such ability to help other people have their hair cut. i could not do that to any of my family members. you know, hair style is very important to everyone's appearance. if you cut bad, your family member may be disappointed, and you would feel guilty too. so, if i must cut someone's hair, i would choose myself.

Thank you! Although I have had one experience where I cut my brother in laws hair too short!! I didnt think that I would see him again!!! But he actually liked it and was back again this evening for me to do it again, so it turned out for the better!!

Since after marriage my husband then got his personal home barber. He was reluctant to go any barber shop as he said that they couldn’t provide satisfactory service as he had to wait quite a long time at the shop there. After I had tried the first cut he then developed confidence on my skills. Since then he insisted to have me as his life barber lol..

My mother cut everyones hair for many years, until her arthritis got bad. I did most of our own haircuts, and now our oldest daughter has taken over. It turns into more of a social occasion... we sit and talk in the kitchen and take our turns. When Hun isn't keeping his head shaved, he just needs a 'fringe' trim... I have a 5-minute blunt cut, so we're easy!
