How do you deal with noisy neighbors?

Our last neighbors were really loud people. Their kids were loud too. They were so loud, that you could hear them talking/shouting at each other from the street as you drove by. I guess they had marital issues. Thankfully, they found a new place to live and now have become someone else's problem.
Our new neighbors are much better and not so loud. Their kids are loud. But, then again, kids are often allowed to be louder than adults. They don't know any better. Are your neighbors loud? Do they keep you up at night by playing their music loudly? Do you call the cops when that happens?

I am glad that I don't have noisy neighbours as I live on campus when I work. My school neighbours are all very nice teachers. We live peacefully and quietly without getting each other bothered.

When we first moved in, I thought we might have a problem with loud neighbors. The first two weekends we were here, the guy and several of his friends were out drinking and making a bunch of noise until about 1 am. That was in July. And honestly, I have not heard any other loud noises from over there since then. Occasionally we hear the baby cry when they open the door to let the dog out or in, or when he goes to work or something, but that's really it. And a baby crying is not a big deal. They probably hear my toddler crying sometimes, too.

1. Be friendly with them and polite tell them the problems you are facing with their noise.
2. If they do not budge, give them warning.
3. If they do not budge, you can make more noise, by using speakers
4. You can also get the help of other nieghbours (if they are also affected due to noisy neighbours) and together meet the neighbours and give representation.
5. If still does not work, give a police complaint.

No, our neighbours are very quiet. We hardly see them at all.

hi,i want to say it is unlucky to have a nosiy neighbors.i have never experience such a neighbor.if you have such a neighbor,i think you should have a talk with him/her.tell him /her what is your trouble .if he /she doesn't listen to you, you can call the police .that is the police's duty.
