Pushing the gay issue a bit much don't you think?

I think torchwood is going overboard on the gay issue. I understand it's big and all in the UK but come on! I thought Captain Jack was hot but now I can't tell what way he rolls. I'm not antigay but I don't need it pushed in my face like torchwood is doing. I think everyone but Owen has had a gay kiss now.

have you seen all of season one yet? I think it's pretty clear that while Jack tends to prefer men, he'll roll in any direction that feels good, lol. Do you realize Torchwood is done by the same man who wrote Queer As Folk? I don't think Torchwood is pushing the gay issue in anyone's face, it just is what is it, and it was made pretty clear back when Jack was on Dr. Who, before the spinoff, that Jack liked men. He kissed the Doctor, even!

It's in every show, it's too much, and I'm no longer a fan. I don't need what goes against my beliefs thrown in my face with every single show.

Well having seen all the episodes of torchwood here in the uk i too feel that it's not pushed in your face full on by the actual program it's more to do with the way john barrowman is, in real life john barrowman is Gay but he's quite proud of it and has no problem in expressing it in any way shape or form, in some ways it lets the show down slghtly but in some ways it also makes captain jack different from say dr who or anyone like that. I love the torchwood series and can't wait for series two to air here in the uk. Keep watching there is more good stuff to come and the finale is a good one.

If it's the one where captain jack holds the hand and disappears at the end. I seen it. That was 13.

I thought they were purposely showing him as liking both. That's what I gathered after watching him in Doctor Who.

I actually thought James Marsters did the whole trysexual thing a lot better than John Barrowman who does lean towards men more, which you can see with his flirting with Gwen, its not as believable as when he flirts with Ianto.
