Wastage of food at parties and functions

I have come across in many functions and parties where many times the food is wasted and finally rotten. How to minimise the wastage and if possible to serve the needy. recently I come across that some organisations are collecting the unutilized food at hotels and functions and serving them to the poor people. I feel this kind of awareness should be encouraged and served to the poor people. what's your opinion on this?

I completely agree with you my freind, There is a lot of wastage of food in parties and functions. The bigger the party is, more the food gets wasted. I think that the party organiser should think about it. He/she should arrange the food according to the guests invited in the party. This will help in minimizing the wastage of food.....
I think you are right at your place but its very hard to do what you said. Practicaly not possble for everyone to do this. The one who can do this should do this and others should think of minimizing the wastage of food. Not only in parties, there is a lot of wastage of food in our daily lifes also. Many people dont think about it. We shoould respect the food and should not waste it.......
