Al Green Is Brilliant

I saw Al Green singing on Soul Train recently and was so impressed with his work. He has to be one of the best soul singers ever. The man has a style that's all his own and nobody can be compared to him. I know that he changed his style in the late 70's and that kind of hurt his career. But no matter what, his music is timeless and I really look forward to collecting more of his CD's. My mom had an 8 track tape of his that I would put on and listen to as a kid. I remember that was the only album of hers that I liked to really listen to. Well maybe some Fleetwood Mac as well. But I remember thinking I was so "Grown Up" becuase I was this kid who loved listening to someone as classy as Al Green. The man is Genius!
