People are more interested in one days as compared to one days - so now will 20-20 replace one days - our patience is decreasing.

But I think more people watch the short games as compared to test - who has the time to watch so long?

First Of all write the question correct... i cant understand the first line... Well according To me... 20-20 will definately work very good.. Whether it will replace or not..its very difficult to say... But yes 20-20 Will on high now.. because it takes less time.. More Exciting.. Everything happens in it... But with time everything changes.. like onde-crikcet arosed from test cricket.. I think no format die.. 50-50 will remain.. The thing will be only that 20-20 will become more popular..than the other two format

There is no option of editing your typing mistakes in this site so our mistakes stay for eternity. As people have become more impatient 20-20 will draw more audience than other.

well both are totally different type of game and the thing is T20 is not at all about skills. well my friend T20 is not the real cricket. it is just how good you are in slogging. so if one batsman has a day he can do anything otherwise nothing. so it is not about skill but about a lot of luck. but when it is 50 overs you have a lot of time and so you have to play with a game plan and with lot of skills. one more big thing is if in a T20 game a team lost control for just 2 overs he can never recover, but in 50 over game you can recover from crisis situations and that is why it is more interesting. so i hope one day cricket will continue and that will keep my interest in cricket.

yes 20-20 should be replaced in steed of Onedays. But I cann't because Test matches are being played today. Test matches never replaced one-day so how will it replace in steed of 50-50. Thanks dear for this discussion but tell me about you.

i believe that 20-20 format may replace 50 overs match someday for the time factor as well as the excitement factor. & people always like to appreciate new things in life coz it makes life worth living ...

Yes it will in a very short period. Your observation is very correct. People do not wnat to see results that take too much of time. People nowadays want fast results and I am sure it can be achieved easily through 20-20 cricket

20-20 certainly has become the most preferred format of cricket with results being quick and people loving the new format. But I contradict the fact, because in this format even minnows like bangladesh can pressurize teams like west indies with a good score on the board batting first. Even a good team like Australia succumb to run rate pressures, but if u take a 50-50 match their team performs far much better. West Indies exit also can be termed as an upset but considerable weightage goes to the fact that bangladesh was able to put pressure batting first..

I don't think that wud ever happen.. Both the versions have their different places in this sport.. Test matches didn't stop when ODIs came into existence, so why shud ODIs shud b done with when T20 has become quite popular.. ODIs are still very exciting...

yup im sure dat 20-20 will surelly replace one day matches as every one is buzzy some or the other place so no one have time to watch full 100 overs so now peoples getting more interested in 20-20... the one day match will replace test matches.... in 20-20 we see runs scored at good run rate and public love good and fast scoring matches..

20-20 is an exciting format which can still be replaced by 15-15 or 10-10 but not less than that. For a proper cricket match with ultra power hitting fortune minimum of 10 overs is a must.If the games are shortened then new defination of rules must also come into play to keep up with the scores of 50-50.Maybe we should have 12 instead of 6 and any other rules that makes the format eye-catching.
