Do you ever try to keep track of how many discussions/responses you make a day?

I've been doing this for the last couple of days and now I know approximately how many discussions/responses/images I have to do to earn an acceptable (to me) amount of money each day. Since I started doing it my earnings have gone up quite a bit. I just put a mark for everything I do and add them up at the end of the day. Yesterday I had done enough much earlier than I usually log off so it gave me more time to spend on another of my favorite sites. Have you ever tried keeping track to see what your earnings will be? Have you figured anything out from what you saw?

I've thought about doing that before, but to be honest I get too caught up having fun on here to do it. I start talking to my friends, chasing people around leaving comments, flirting, whatever... and completely forget about number of posts and earnings and all that junk. ;p I guess I'm just not serious enough about the mylot thing... I have too much fun!

*laughs* I keep getting that surprised reaction over my flirting, but I catch myself doing it all the time, and the people I flirt with tend to know I'm doing so. ;P

I kind of do but 9 times out of 10 I get so caught up in laughing with friends and what not that I lose track of where I was when I started. I do have a rough idea of how many posts I need to come out with decent earnings and I have noticed an increase lately. I made payout finally after adding August, September AND October together but the way I'm going right now I should make payout again in November too!

The same thing happens to me. I know I forget to put one of my little /'s quite often because I get caught up in a discussion.

I have a small notebook that I keep beside my computer and I mark down the number of discussions i respond to every day when the earnings are up dated. I am finding that the days I do a good number of discussions sometime commes up short on earning then the next day i may do just a couple and earn more than the day before. I find it interesting to watch how the earnings do from day to day.

Yes, I find it very interesting myself. My biggest question is on the images we upload. I always find discrepencies with those.

I don't have a system for keeping track of my posts, etc., ctry, but I can always tell when I have done a good job. Some days are not so productive, and other days are very productive. I guess it depends a lot on my mood swings also. When I know that I have done a fair amount of work my earnings will reflect that. On the days when I don't, they also reflect that.

I can always tell when I've had an off day just by looking at my earnings for different days. It's so obvious to me to.

Yes i have done it so many times but usually what i estimate the earnings according to the discussion i take place doesnt happen that much because of this i sometimes become upset.... I normally post 25-50 discussions in a day when i had time but now i dont get that much of time...

It seems a lot of us don't have the time we had in the beginning. Since I started my little part time job I'm actually here a lot less.

I haven't been keeping track of what I do here on mylot but I think that it may be a good idea. It would be intersting to see how much I'm earning in relation to what I'm doing on here. It's hard to figure out the pay structure on this site, which can be a little frustrating. Maybe tracking your own activity will help to get some sort of handle on what is actually earning your money on mylot.

The algorithm (sp?) is something none of us will ever know which is why I like to keep a little record for myself just to keep on my toes.

I have tried keeping track numerous times. It gets a bit difficult equating earnings with my discussions & responses, as the time zone I am in is way out from My Lots. I think we are at least 12.5 hours ahead. I basicly have given up trying to keep track now. All I know is that earnings dropped a lot over the past 6 months. One has to do a great many responses tom earn even a little bit.

Roughly. I usually check the number of posts I have and then see what the number is when I finish for the day.I don't have a number in mind.

For awhile, I would look at my numbers in the paranthesis and try for 10 every day. So if I started at 110, I would try for 120 before I logged off for responses. I would start 1, 2, or 3 topics depending on what came into my head. I did only responses and figured that I made 2 to 3 cents a response. But then I went down to 1 cent a response for awhile. Yesterday, I went up to about 7 cents for a response. It was a very, very long response. Haven't had time to respond much. I live 25 miles away from Plattsburgh, NY and between doctors, work, and volunteering, I will have 21 days straight for going there for some reason or another every day by Nov. 11th. This has got to stop. So I have been doing very few responses lately. Take care.

I used to but I don't do it anymore. I'll answer what I can and don't with the ones that I know nothing about. I make what I can and don't worry too much about it anymore. I like making money on here while chatting with friends but I'm not going to worry about the number anymore.

Well, it is good. But I don't do it, and in fact, I don't have much time in mylot these days, I could only spare sometime during the weekends and respond to some discussions. In fact, I don't think I like that much of Mylot like I used to be in the beginning. Andy

This old mind is soooo forgetful. I think once you hit 500 you can start adding images. You will get there soon enough!

No, but I sure would like to know how you do it and how you figure how much you earn each day. i am having a blast of a life time doing this for the fun part of it, but if I can earn while having fun, boy, nothing better than that! i am an over-organizer nad keep lists and logs and all that for most everything but hadn't thought about it for here. If it helps me earn more or at least know if I have an income or even better myself or my posts, i am all for it. Care to share your system?

when I first joined here I did that for the first couple months but I dont bother anymore....The money aspect of being a member here is great but its not why I come here everyday at this point ya know....I enjoy being here, the ppl (some but not all LOL), the conversations etc etc....the whole getting paid thing is just a bonus at this point...

I have been doing that too! I think we all should keep track of how many discussions we do in a day and reply to. So if I disagree with mylot about my earnings I will know how many I have. Happy posting!

I like keeping tracks of how much responses I can post in a day!! Its important for me because I have a limit of responses that I muts post in a day by hook or crook..!!! I can exceed that limit but before that I have to rech that limit..!! So by seeing the numbers beside my table it always reminds me that I have to post mnay more discussions until and unless I get satisfied. It is an important practice for me because I tend to forget the numvbers every day..!! :)

I'm a newcomer of this webiste and I've never tried to keep track of how many discussions or responses that I make a day. I do post things and respond on postings cause I think that's sth I'd like to find out or that's sth I'm interested in or eager to know. I like thinking, seeing things outside and enlarging my view.
