Lizard lunch anyone?

Lizard eating spider - I love trying to get good photos of wildlife. I happen to be visiting my sister and we were at the table when we spotted this gecko on the backyard fence. My sister said, ugh, and ran. I ran, too--to get my camera! I took several photos of him with my zoom lens on my digital camera.

My sister and I were at the kitchen table when we spotted this gecko on the backyard fence. It looked as if he had caught a spider and was having a good meal! I grabbed my camera and got a good zoom shot. My sister was not thrilled with the sight or the photo! I thought it was great! I like to watch nature in action. Which one would you root for, the spider or the lizard?

Hmm, an interesting choice. While I am fond of lizards, I find spiders merely interesting, some are even fascinating. I would have to say my preference is for the lizard. Great photo.

Thanks. I like lizards better than spiders. At least the lizards around our place don't bite--unlike some of the spiders! My cats love the lizards, too!

I like lizards somewhat better than spiders, myself. They both eat mosquitoes so that's good!

I'm definitely rooting for the gecko! I know spiders have a purpose, but we have plenty of them around already. Spiders are not endangered, so I say the more lizards that eat them the better. LOL Great shot by the way. It's hard to get a shot with animals actually doing something other than sitting. You got a great one!
