How do you feel about haunted houses?

I am terrified of haunted houses! I went to a few with my friends when I was a teenager, and I always acted like I wasn't scared. I would just laugh and make my way through it. But on the inside, I was so scared I just wanted to get out of there as soon as I could! I would practically jump right out of my skin! How do you feel about them? Fun or Scary?

The haunted fun houses are really scary for me. I KNOW weird stuff is going to happen and things are going to jump out at me. They can be fun though.
The real haunted houses are a little creepy sometimes but they don't bother me nearly as much. I think they are interesting and I love to find out the stories and myths about the houses. I guess growing up in one kind of helped me get over any major fears.

You grew up in a haunted house? I'm so jealous! I always wished my house was haunted. Oh well, perhaps I'll find one to move into someday... :)

LOL...It wasn't that big of a deal really. There were 3 "people" that would just show up once in awhile. The man made his appearane the most and usually just stood in corners or doorways and watched what was going on. The woman only appeared once for sure but her perfume could be smelled a lot and she seemed to prefer the "nursery". The third was a little boy and he also appeared only once but it was in broad daylight and was just as clear as if he was a "real" boy. He looked like he was around 2 and was dressed in what looked like long john pajamas. He ran across the room towards the front door right in front of me...if you can picture how a little one runs to the door when Mommy or Daddy comes home that's exactly what he did. Other than that it was just the occasional strange noise, voices where there shouldn't have been,the sound of music playing, pictures getting moved, the tv and/or lights being on in the middle of the night when everyone was sure they'd been turned off.

If it is a haunted 'fun' house, I am terrified of them. Too many things jump out at you. LOL
If it an old house that is haunted, I love them. I love the history and the myths surrounding them. Halloween is my favorite holiday because of the stories.

I like the 'real' haunted houses too. I love it when they're set up with all sorts of stories and urban legends. I have yet to actually site a ghost or experience any of that, but I hope to some day!
