Have you been told.
1. You can't reach above your head when your pregnant.
2. Eat spicy food to have your baby
3. This one blow my mind when my friend's mother told me this one when i was pregnant. If you drink to much water you can drown your baby(LOL) I was in a maze of WHAT is this lady toalking about.
4. If someone sweep your feet you won't get married
5. If you put your pocketbook on the floor you'll always be BROKE(I'm broke as I don't know what and my pocketbook stays on my drawer)
There are more but i would love to hear some of MyLotters Ole wiives tails. I think some of them are pretty funny

These are fun. I hadn't heard yours before. :)
My grandma told me that eating the crusts of bread will give me curly hair.
She also told me, drinking coffee would turn my knees black. (I WAS playing in her garden when she told me that, and had black knees.)

How 'bout:
1.) Don't swallow the seeds! It'll grow in your stomach.
2.) If you jump up and down after wards, you won't get
pregnant.
3.) Don't swallow! You'll get pregnant!
4.) Don't do that! You'll go blind!
5.) If you break a mirror, you'll have 7 years of bad luck!
And where this is not strictly a wive's tale, it is just as untrue and therefore I include it.

My fav is when I would lay on the floor watching tv or whatever and my brother or anyone would step over me, my grandmother would wig out! Youll stunt her growth. She'd make them step back over me and walk around me
