Ok this is to most of the new people and a few old ones who need to hear this too. When you make a dicussion and then 5 mins later give BR to the very first person who responds, NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO WANT TO RESPOND. I mean seriously people, the BR is for just that the person who's answer or response is truely the best out of all recived. If your discussion is 10 mins old how the hell do you know who that person is given only 2 people have responded so far. Get a grip and stop just doting out things to your friends to pump their ratings.

Good advice. I'll try to comply. Sometimes when I have an unpopular subject and no one has responded in over a week, I'll give the first to finally respond a BR. Other than that, I'm mostly a good boy in this regard.

Here are some examples of old discussions that most people would find lame and boring to the point of not bothering to respond. Now if its a 5 minute later BR then I think something is up. If its a 2, 3, 4 week or even longer BR then of course the first one or two people are going to be in line for BR. I do agree with you Riptide and everyone else, there should be some scrutiny with the people doing BR coddling.

I have a few discussions that I haven't given out BR to because there weren't enough responses to do so. It felt wrong to give a BR to a discussion that only had 6 replies, even if it is 3 months old lol. Maybe I'm weird but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I see that a lot and I think it's either friends coddling each other or multiple accounts.People like this might deserve a closer look to see if it's a pattern. Many a multiple account holders gave themselves away like that.
