Every since I had an epidural in 2006, I've had back problems and since I had a spinal in 2007 it has gotten worse. My question is.. how long does this usually last? Or is it something that I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life?

I had an epidural in 2004 and never had any problems with it after it was taken it. That is something you might want to mention to your doctor.

Yeah, I think I am going to. With my first epidural, they had to redo it a few times and it was just overall a horrible experience.

I didn't know having epidural will cause such a big problem. I am pregnant now, and this is my first time pregnant, I've decided not to have epidural as I heard it's risky having it though the risk is very low.

Definitely have a chat with your Dr because someone on here said they had no problems with their Epidural which is great, i had a spinal block in 2006 & haven't had a problem with that either. I don't know whether pain after birthing is normal or not so it's best to ask & see if the epidural is the cause of it. Some people have commented on having pain so maybe it varies from person to person or maybe it's the way it's done too. Good luck & hopefully you'll be able to find something to help with the pain or to get rid of it completely!
