My connection is great and every thing works fine so why is it when i go onto internet exploerer suddenly the response can suddenly go to a crawl. I mean i'll be playing online games, like WOW or something just fine no lag or anything but when i get on the internet it takes quite a while for a page to load. IDK it just seems a bit weird to me.

as we know IE either 6 or 7 does several scanning specially with IE7. Every website you are surfing are filtered by it thats why you will experience some technical problems or slowing down the loading of the page and its normal. another thing, maybe your computer is infected with spywares, adware, or virus it will affect much in the performance of your internet and same with your pc. Maybe also you are running many background programs and services that is not necessary. Anyway, try changing your browser to firefox then compare its speed.

Assuming your connection is fast enough to play games with, I would look into your cookie settings. It may be that numerous tracking cookies are being installed while yo are playing. Set your security to the highest setting that still allows you access to the internet, try not to accept 3rd party cookies and in the custom settings area, type in the http address of your gaming sites in the "accept cookies from" area. Let me know if this works. I have a few other ideas, but this is my first thought of what is wrong with your connection.

ok .. lets me give a little help .. hope can help you a little also ... like this there is a little different between internet browsing and playing gaming online like wow etc. if you are using for game online .. the critical that is use is the response time .. not the transfer rate .. the transfer rate only using a little bwith .. maybe arround 5 - 10 KBps (bytes) but the response time (ussually) between 30 - 90 ms but if you are browsing, bwith is more critical than reponse time .. since you would not notice the different between response time 50 ms an 150 ms ... execpt the diference about 1 or 2 seconds. somethin like that maybe. hope could help you a little friends :)
