Who makes the sun rise and who makes it set?

Such question doesn't deserve more than a single word answer. However - discuss widely why the sun is rising. I guess it's hard to explain.

How can you say that this topic doesn't deserve more than a one-word answer? This is more than scienctific, this is a very Spiritual topic, and, I believe, requires some very deep thinking. Even Empirisists such as yourself must surely realize there is more to this existence than can be explained away by science?

hi firelight, i know you are right and that we all learn that in primary school, well I did, although I didn't believe it until I saw film of our world from outer space. I'm glad you thought my reply was sweet, it's what I was told as a little girl.

You are wrong when you say that the su doesn't move. Sun is a part of milky way and moves. Though it is true that sun's motion has nothing to do with earth's day or night.

What other things Allah can do for this world?
