What would make you stop drinking your favorite brand of coffee?

If you went to your local grocery store and they didn't have your favorite brand of coffee, would you buy another brand or just do without coffee? For years, I was a really big coffee drinker. That is, until I got pregnant and had to go off of caffeine entirely. And, then there was that uncomfortable four months afterwards when I didn't get caffeine either and stumbled around, half asleep, all day in a new mommy haze. But, the first moment I could do so, I went back to drinking coffee. Any coffee at all, any brand and any flavor was just fine with me. But, once the novelty wore off, I went back to my favorite brand Maxwell House. After awhile my spouse started doing the bulk of shopping. And, he never buys Maxwell House. He says it's too expensive, which is totally ludicrous, considering that he spends up to $30 monthly on sweets and pie. I guess that's what you get when you let your spouse shop for groceries. So, I was consigned to drinking the worst tasting generic coffee on the planet. And, that stuff tastes really bad. So, after about a month of gritting my teeth and putting up with it, I switched to tea. And, I've been drinking it ever since. I guess tea is better for the health anyway. Way more life saving anti-oxidants. One day I'll be the primary grocery shopper again, and maybe I'll get my favorite brand back. Maybe not! If you couldn't have your favorite brand of coffee, what would you do? Drink the coffee that was available or switch to tea or nothing at all? If the price went up, would you still drink it?

I will find another brand to try and keep finding one until I like it. I love coffee so if one doesn't taste right for me, then I go looking for another one and ask my neighbor if she wants the one i didn't like. I'm always one looking for a bargain so if the coffee I drank suddenly got expensive then I may look for a cheaper one but of the same quality.

I must admit I am not a bit coffee drinker I like my cup of tea but my first drink of the day is coffee and I always seem to buy Nescafe but I often think of the coffee my dad would let us kids have a cup of now and then it was the best coffee, it came as liquid in a long skinny bottle, I haven't seen it in the supermarkets but it was nicer than what i have today.
