Would you agree..that there are some folks that never really grow up..As adults they continue looking for attention.. They get a cold..cough cough cough...sniffle sniffle.. They have stubbed their toe..yow ..real loud etc.. Some people they want you to notice eveything about them.

yes I agree. maybe their families treat them like a princess or something, that's why they keep looking for attention. or maybe it's the other way around, they are always the last to be noticed so they look for attention somewhere else. Some of these people are actually nice people, too bad they annoyed a lot of people that way.

I agree with you some people make a huge deal out of everything. I personally would call them Drama Kings and Queens myself. Tehy are irritating and they annoy everyone around them. However I would like to defend the people who while possibly fitting under the description of "never-growing-up" do not fall under the Drama description. My reason for this, hahaha, is I am one of them. Anyway it's kind dumb but the point I want to make is some people just have a very low pain tolerance. If I hurt myself I'll cry out and if I hurt myself badly enough I might cry over it but not for attention, if in public I would go to a washroom to not be seen, but still, I am useless if I am sick or hurt myself. So in conclusion, I agree with you about hte annoying people but do not wish to be grouped with them for havieng a low pain tolerance. Haha.

I know quite a few people who are this way. Makes you wonder if they were 'over-mothered' when they were children and never learned how to stand on their own two feet. One gal I know is a constant complainer about everything, you know the type...no pain is too little? I don't know if she does it for attention, or what. We call her the 'energy vampire' because it takes so much of OUR energy to interact with her. If I see her at the store, I'll usually go investigate something in a different aisle, lol. Maybe it should be tacked up to low self-esteem or something, I don't know. It's too bad they don't realize it's not one of their most endearing qualities...

Sure. I've known people like that -- those who constantly seem to want attention, so that they will be noticed. But you know, there's always a reason for why people are the way they are. One good reason that I can think of, right off, is that some people have low self-esteem. So they constantly need reinforcement in the form of attention, to make themselves feel that they ARE worthwhile. Of course, acting like a baby about every little thing, isn't the way to do it. It just makes you look weak. But people like that, don't care. They just need the attention. Then there are people who have been spoiled, since childhood and can't seem to grow up and take charge of their own lives. These are selfish people who just want, and want and want. "Me" is their favorite word. That's pure selfishness for sure, in my book. I don't feel sorry for people like that. Those kinds of people need to "fall down" a lot, and get no help. If they have any sense at all, they will finally learn that you need to help yourself, and depend on just yourself, if you want to be a mature adult. God knows, you need that sort strength, all through life. On the reverse side of the coin, there are people who never ask for help from anyone. lol. I think those types of people have figured out that asking for help is undignified, immature and usually pointless. It takes all kinds, doesn't it...
