I was just wondering on how many people that respond to a discussion they find interesting look at the posters other discussions as well and respond to them? When i am looking for discussions that interest me and i find one that i really like and know the person has put a lot of time and effort into i usually tend to look at there other discsusions and 9 out of 10 times will resposned to more then just the on post from them.. how many of yu respond to just the one sumbit yur tags and then go back on your merry old way? Or how many tend to click the view other discussions and post to them as well?

I do like to read through other people's responses, but I rarely raply to responses that other people have left. I'm not sure if we get paid (or get paid much?) for doing that, and most people probably wouldn't reply back to the reply even if I left one - but I do really love to read other people's thoughts, and it is a lot of fun to find a discussion about something that I'm interested in and see what everyone has had to say about it.

Oh my goodness. I shouldn't be posting when I'm tired. I just realized what you were actually saying. Yes, I do like to look through a poster's discussions and reply to other topics that they've posted. I am so sorry. Please disregard my other reply. I really thought that you were talking about something else entirely. I feel so sheepish and silly now. That's what I get for reading and posting when I haven't been awake very long. I am truly sorry.

No, as long as I have something good to share on the post then I respond to it. The only thing that bothers me are those who post lots of discussions and yet, they don't even check or comment on those responses they get. Be it they have high or low ratings, even those newbies who doesn't have any star ratings yet that needs help and are seeking advice on every aspect I know I can provide help.

i agree. I like to go and look at the other discussins and when they are interesting i will respond to them. But sometimes i get frustrated when i dont recieve a comment back.. Not that they poster "has" to but if you spent a good amount of time writing a quality response. then yu want to know that your response is appreciated.. i have to admit that id say im only 50/50 when it comes to commenting... sometimes i just dont know what to respond and other times they say somthing that there is no comment to.. thank you for your response

That also occurs to me, I still blame the language barrier here. I'm not from an english-speaking country, so I take time to think of what comment to put under those who responded to me. With hoping that they'd also understand my point, which at many times work!;)

My way of responding is similar to yours. I browse through the top discussions of the day and respond to the one which is of my interest. Then open the posters profile in a separate tab and look for his other discussions and respond to them as well. Also i do look for latest discussions of my friends and respond to them!!

I do that most of the time. Sometimes, I can find three or more interesting discussions to respond to. And sometimes, I even go back to their first few discussions that are already several months old. There are times that even when I look at a particular profile and have checked all the discussions started, I still can't find a single one that gets my attention.

i really enjoy when i can look at the posters other discsussions and find certain topics that peak my interest. I find it alot more interesting and fun when i can go down one persons profile and just respond. I know i enjoy it when others respond to more then one of my discussions. As long as there the ones that are making sense and not just trying to earn a few...

i just read a few posts below the main discussion and respond after seeing how others feel about the topic. i even leave comments on posts by other users. Also i have made it a point to respond to every response i get from a discussion i have started and also rate every1 +. thats my way of saying thank you for taking your time off to respond to my discussion

Sometimes I will go to another poster's discussion and respond if I have something to say. Sometimes I only respond to the main discussion it all depends on what I have an opinion on and can contribute.

Usually I don't go back and look at their other discussions. I don't get too much free time to devote to mylot per day so I try and answer discussions from different people. Sometimes when I have a little extra time, there are a few posters that I recognize nad will go and look for their other more recent discussions.

I do sometimes, but not all the time. A lot of the time I go through the new discussions for about 10 pages. Then I go back and check on what I responded to and weather or not the person has responded back and read the other responses. Most of the time I go look at their other discussions to see if any interest me. Sometimes I go to the discussions of others who responded if I really like their response.
