What do you think of the book Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown from a religious point of view? Do you think it is a novel based on facts or just simply fiction? If you're a Christian, what do you think about Dan Brown's work?

As Dan Brown himself asserts, the story is pure fiction but are based on some facts to at least make a semblance of believability. I am a chistian but I am not bothered by Dan Brown's work and in fact I find it very entertaining. Although I prefer the book over its film adaptation, both are very entertaining.

Well, the combination of fact and fiction coupled with Dan Brown's storytelling would really make some people believe the entire work to be factual. Also, Dan Brown has included in his work some of the things that are really still debatable to this day like for example the role of Mary Magdalene. So if one's faith in christianity is not really that deep seated, one will tend to waiver and question one's belief.

hello! i have read the book and watched the movie. i believe that some parts of the books are based on facts and some are just the authors opinion or imagination. in fairness to dan brown, he's a good author. As a Catholic, the book doesn't disturbed me or make me worried or think twice about my belief. I enjoyed reading the book.. :-)
