I really love this movie. It gives us a discription of magic world and tells us how to tell from evil to kindness, how to help each other when we are in trouble. What's more, the background music is fantastic.

I like it very much. It has my fave character, whom I love doing impressions of..."My...PRECIOUS!" LOL! I still remember the old cartoons, the Hobbit, and Return of The King, so when I saw these 'live adaptaions,' I had to see them. My only disappointment (I'd never read the books before) was seeing Bilbo go all loco over the Ring. In ROTK cartoon, Frodo had stated that Bilbo's innocence protected him from the Ring's influence. Guess they couldn't think how to show him acting all possessed, for kids who watched it...

To me, The Lord of The Ring (trilogy) is the best movie of ALL time! The movie has everything in it, magic, myth, brotherhood, love, fantastic locations, great music.

i love the lord of the rings, both movies and books. but i especially like the book since it contains more details. you should read the prologue of the lord of the rings trilogy. it tells how bilbo baggins got the ring. its a good book.

I do like it and I admire the people behind it as it is one thing to read the book and another to watch the move. it is amaizing how they came up with all the different characters and the imagination it must have taken. When I watched the second or the third (not sure) I was almost 9 months pregnant and we watched it at the movies and my god half way into it I was dying (back pain, stomack pain, needed to go to the toilet, baby kicking) but I made it (not thet I could recall anything because I was so absorbed by how uncomfortable I was). The worst thing is I went to the movies once again about 3 days before I gave birht (son was almost 10 days overdue) but lucky that movie was shorter.

I did enjoy the films very much. However, something was missing. Of course they were excellent films in just about everyway - music, cinematography, story, etc. But it missed the element for me that compelled me to want to view them over and over again. There are films that I do want to watch over and over. I catch them everytime I can on cable, tv, or dvd. I usually do latch on to movies that are "of another time", or have some sort of "quest" or fantasy element to them but these did not find a place like that in my mind.
