My star rating went down again

Honestly, Blue, I would just let it go. If the ratings don't effect earnings, does it really matter? By getting upset by it you let the other guy win. I know the discussion you are referring to, and it was a good discussion. The guy is just trying to eat at you because you disagree. Some people can't agree to disagree, and it is obvious that he just wants to push his view. I don't personally look at the ratings at all. There are some people I have found that I really enjoy their discussions even if they have no star and others that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole even if they somehow got a star that said one million. Don't let the jerk win!

I would hold my head high as long as you answered in good manners he will end up looking bad people like him get caught up to sooner or later and GOD does not intend for everything to be put on the internet,thats common sense I will keep posting until mylots has something to say to me I am fair and honest about my discussions so I always leave positive feed back and all the good stuff I applaud your efforts and say you go.Have a great day.

we must have made the same person mad cause my star rating has gone down as well, I just don't understand some people, I can understand if someone gave you a neg rating for one responce but to give you multiple ones just is not right, I think yo my be right it just does not go down that much in one day

I would maybe report him to mylot. Explain to them what happened and that you think he is making your star rating drop. I would just try to inore him the best I could.

I don't think it really matters blue! I was reading your discussion and I do feel bad that you had someone doing that to you and most likely you are probably right. People can be very vindictive. As long as it doesn't effect your earning potential here, don't worry about it. I don't think it really matters. You have your friends who support you, so what's a star? Anyhow, keep your chin up, I am sure your ratings will go up soon!

Hi, don't worry over small matters. Just concentrate on your posts because that is what matters. Ignore the man completely or if he still creates problem for you then report it to mylot. I believe that mylot will surely find a solution for your problem. So, don't worry about this silly issue and waste your time. Take care.

I wouldn't really worry about it. I just recently started a discussion too about my star rating dropping. I went from a 9 to a 6 in like 4 days. I try not to do anything to make anyone mad but I guess I did. I will give you positive ratings on what I can.

I haven't really figured out how this star rating works. But like what most people had already stated, do not waste your energy and do not give this person the satisfaction that what he had done is possibly eating you up. If the star rating doesn't impact your earnings then let it be. He'll probably get tired someday.

Well Blue, when you get chances you can bring up how broken the star system is. Other than that, just be you. Its your life and your opinion. Yield for no one!! Some people are so puerile that's all they can do on mylot, hit negatives and stalk a profile. You can report it to mylot but nothing gets done about it. Just keep going and posting. I find the best revenge is knowing that I've gotten under the skin of some immature people and burst their pitiful mental bubbles. Plus, most people don't take the star rating seriously and others know how great some low star members are. Just keep being you, I've seen you around Bluestar. You are great. If you give up then that means, loser troll wins. If you keep going then its like saying "HA!" to them. You've got support.

I suggest you don't sweat it. In an environment that is inherently public you will encounter bad/crazy elements. Just part of the game. Your rating will fluctuate. Not a big deal. I never bother to look at my rating, other peoples opinions about me are theirs, not mine.

Hi BSM ~ I wouldn't worry about that rating dealy. It is strange to me how it works anyhow. How can someone just rate you so fast on an opinion anyway? I am new to this and really do not understand it. But from what I have heard, it is a little strange that just anyone can give you a bad rating?? Maybe someone from the site should put a stop to them doing that... I don't know. Being as new to mylot as I am, I didn't even notice the "star rating" until I read this discussion. As many others have said, don't worry about it. It would be nice if there was a way that mylot could keep track of who rates who what. Then, if one person is repeatedly marking someone negative all over the place, a red flag would be sent up. Not everyone is going to agree with everyone else, but opinion should be respected and no one deserves to be harrased. Keep on smiling! :)

But I do think we should post sth that we really wanna share with others,share sth meaningful.So I hope your rating will go better later and for the current situation,just let it go!
