I don't know. I sure don't want him back on the Yankees. On one hand, I want Joe Torre to succeed, on the other, that is a huge salary to take on, and as much money as the Dodgers have, it's not enough to get him and some solid defense as well. Besides, none of the Dodger players seem to feel the urgency A-Rod feels. As much as he annoys me, he does want to win. All the Dodgers have is a pain in the rear of Milton Bradley. Ach, if only Paul La Duca was still a Dodger. It has nothing to do with the subject at hand, but I still wish that. : )

I love Paul La Duca.I am so glad Torre is with my Dodgers. Now i get to root for his team. I hate the Yankees , but I always like Torre.I am not sure if A-Rod will fit in, that's why I asked the question.

You have a point. The Dodgers were divided at the end of last season. Torre doesn't need that.

I haven't followed the Dodgers during the year like I should. I wasn't sure if A-Rod would fit in.All I know is that The Dodgers were divided at the end of the season. If A-Rod would keep the team from coming together, The Dodgers really don't need him.

Maybe but if the Dodgers are smart, they won't give in to a $300 million price tag for a guy who blows it in the post-season. I don't think he'll lead them to the World Series as he is the walking jinx. I saw the results with every team he's been involved with and hasn't gotten the teams he's been involved with into the World Series and get a ring for that matter. I do think he's selfish and self-centered and overrated personally.
