For me, I like calling people and talking on the phone rather than texting. I'm very slow at texting and I like talking better. (",) What about you?

I would much rather call. If I had the option of emailing or calling - I'd much rather email or instant message someone. I'm not a big texting person. I've done it but not my first choice but I have if I'm somewhere where I can't use my phone - I'll text a message.

I prefer texting, emailing, or instant messaging to avoid the awkward silence on the phone trying to figure out what to say next. :) The extra time to think before you speak situation usually brings a more positive outcome.

calling, it's more personal, but then again it all goes back to who it is that you are speaking to, and what preffered form of communication it is that you have. it really depends on the person

We have unlimited texts on our plan, but it just depends on the situation. If I am anywhere that I need to use text and not talk on the phone, then I guess I will text. For example, if I am inside one of my classes and not able to call, then I will text people to communicate. Usually, if I have the option, I will call because it's just much easier to get responses and have a conversation without having to deal with responses and waiting for the next part in a conversation.
