Have you had any snow?

Snowflakes - A picture of snowflakes

We have finally heard the *S* word on the weather. Yup, they are calling for a few snow showers for tonight. Why am I depressed? I love snow flurries. I know a lot of MyLotter's live in places that it does not snow. But, for the ones who experience this "wonderful" (can you hear the sarcasm?) white stuff, have you had any yet?

Yes, we have it in our forecast too. Windy and snow flurries. Gee, I can't wait. I really enjoy the bumper to bumper traffic, and the thousands of fender benders. Not to mention the shovelling, and the salt stains on my boots. Great....oh, and the borderline frostbite is fun too.

No snow for us yet. I live in Missouri. I heard that it is supposed to get down to around the 20's tonight here, so it will be too cold for snow. I hate snow. It can stay away forever for all I care.

Yeah, maybe it is just the cold I hate. I don't like hot weather either though. I guess I am just too picky.

I live in NE Ohio in the snowbelt area. We woke up to snow Tuesday morning, and it's still snowing today lol. Our town was on the news because we a *always!* get snow, even if nobody else around does. We had sleet Monday night, and a little on Tuesday too. Ah well, I guess you have to expect that in November hahaha.

Yeah, I heard Madison and Ashtabula got hit pretty hard. Probably harder than we did this time around. I used to live in Madison down by the Lake for about 5 years...brrrrrrrrrr!! I imagine they got hit with a lot of Lake effect snow because it's still warmer there. Our town's got the highest elevation in NE Ohio, so even though we lucked out (pretty much) this time, I know the rest of the winter we'll live up to our title as usual hahaha. Nice meeting you sherrir101!

It is very rare for it to snow believe it or not in the south of the UK, we did a few flurries over the Easter holiday but nothing settled, the only time I want it to snow is on Christmas Day, the last white Christmas we had was in the 70s, can you believe it! We have very mild winters now so to some they have never even seen snow. But there's still time yet for it to snow, it has snowed in April and May before now!

I think as much as I do not 'like' snow, that I would miss it. They're calling for a couple of inches this weekend.

None yet here in New York. But I have heard it mentioned in the forecast either tomorrow or the next day. I don't think it will stay yet. By the way, I love the snow.

Not yet. We live in the top/Panhandle area of Texas. Tonight will be the first night it gets really cold. It will get down to 28 degrees. Cold enough, but I'm really not ready for that white stuff yet!

I am doing fine lately. I like the weather now that it is cooling down. I get out and do a lot more. I am almost finished with Physical Thearapy at the first of December I am done. At least I am standing better since i have been going to it. Before I couldn't stand in one spot without feeling like I was going to fall down. I am glad that my new nerologist saw that about me.

No, it hasn't snowed here in the Chicago area yet, but it sure is cold enough. I do love the snow, but not when I have to drive in it.

We had snow here a few days ago and it wasn't a little bit of snow either. It snowed about a foot in the span of the day and night. It was that heavy wet snow so you can imagine what that was like to shovel. Thank God by husband does all the shovelling. I'm sad about it too. Oh well.

Where I live we don't usually get snow very often. So far this year it has not been cold enough, my hubby was just remarking yesterday that he thinks this year will be a mild winter so we may not get any snow at all. The last real snow we had was about 4 or 5 years ago, it was soooo pretty. I love snow, in other places, not where I am at, it terrifies me to drive in it, but it is sooo beautiful to look at. I love to look at it but not to drive in it. Stay warm my friend :)

I live in Guangzhou, China and it is impossible to see the snow here. Sometimes we can see the snow in a specific park here. As they use the electricity to create the man-made snow world in a house. At least we can experience how it feels in the northern snow place. I did see the real snow when I had a travel in the past.

Yeah. My region in Upstate New York had lots of snow every season. This would cause delays in certain stuff; even cancel altogether. Especially when it snows in the morning, schools are closed. I feel worried for children who always want to go to school and learn new stuff. Also snow causes problems on roads and streets because drivers can never see lines and other markings. Snow even causes motor vehicle crashes. The good thing about having snow is to celebrate White Christmas. It is also good for skiers and snowmobilers. Snow keeps the wooded areas real quiet and the animals hibernate.
