Would You Work Even Though You're Sick?

I am facing this dilema right now. I have the on set of a nasty cold, but I still think I should go to work. Problem is, I know that I am border line contagious, but work still needs to be done...I am going in anyways, as I don't really see anyone else most of the day, or they're somewhere else in the office. I know germs will spread anyways, but I always figured that unless I am "dying" I should be at work. What does everyone else think?

I have been known to go to work while I was sick, was working nights, by myself so no danger to anyone else getting sick. However, I did push it until I had to call in, due to high fever and pushing myself to the limit. So just watch that you don't do that.

No, I actually ended up coming home early yesterday. I am working from home today with my boss's blessing. Thank god for Internet Databases! :) They are very understanding, so I am lucky. The world may not stop for a cold, but it sure stops me, and I am no good to anyone when I am sick. Thanks for the responses, guys!:)

If my body says no you cannot go towork I dont force myself because the more i push through i might put myself in real danger. What if I faint and nobody is around..i might fall off my head and i go crazy..
But i will if I can for the sake of Money. If i really need to do so..Ill just ask somebody to pick me up after work.

i think youre a workaholic.that can be cure easily.me i dont like going to the office.i do freelance.it's better pay.and alot of time to do other things..get well soon..=)
