6 November 2007, European Champions Leauge match between Liverpool and Besiktas at Anfield ended 8-0 win to Liverpool. The breaking record of highest score in the ECL history. The goal started and ended by Peter crouch, second, third and fourth by Yossi Benayoun, fifth by Gerrard, sixth and seventh by Babel. This is a great history ever... Unfortunately, the story of Liverpool's Champions League campaign still yet to be continued. They have yet to win two remaining matches... After this historic match, will they able to knock the next round door?

As an LFC fan, we're really amazed as you are. But you're a bit lucky have this greatest club nearby. It is not only to win the two games but all matches until they crowned as the Champion... It's great to hear that lols189... do u leave near Anfield?

Even with this historical goal difference victory, Liverpool has still to work to qualify for the CL next stage... I hope they will bounce back into the first two teams from Group A. I think Liverpool can display a better football than Marseille, for example...

I think everybody has to be very optimistic that we can finish the job by beating Porto and Marseille after that display. There will be a great sense of confidence around Anfield after breaking yet another record in European Competition.

well . yeah i did saw the match .. liverpool played really good . but then Besiktas also gave a helping hand by playing miserably that day . they had a miserable outing . there defence was haywire . every team has a bad day and a good day in football . it was liverpool good day and for besiktas a bad day.. n yup . the win still havent secured liverpool a place in the next round .the group is too close to call who is going to proceed to the next round. liverpool are still lying third in the group behing Marseille and FC porto.. wiht only 2 points seperating all the four teams .. its still anybody game :)

so now that they have won marseilles, also with a fantastic goal difference... will the champions league title be theirs? but the poor showing against MAn U this last weekend was disappointing and shows that they still have some way to go. It was in Anfield, for crying out loud! in front of all the home supporters! and it was still not enough. sigh.
