Flat tires - and maybe a corpse in the trunk......would you report it?

We have a car that's been parked on our street for about a week. No one knows who it belongs to and the tires are starting to go flat.
My husband and I were goofing around and speculating about it.
I say what if it was stolen and it was used to commit a crime. Maybe someone was murdered and the body is still in the trunk?!?!
Yipes!!!
Ok, so if you had to speculate and let your imagination run wild, what would you say is going on with this abandoned car?

I think if you live in a neighborhood where you know most of the people and no one knows whose can it is you should report it to the police as an abandoned car in your neighborhood. Then they could come check it out and at least have it towed away.

We don't know everyone but to see the people or their cars, we would recognize who belongs and who doesn't.
Strangely, after rousing much suspicion, it disappeared after dark yesterday and hasn't been back...hmmm! Odd!

Yes I have a good imagination as well, I think I would report it as a maybe abandoned car then it is up to the police to take it further, you have to think about these things these days...unfortunately...

It's creepy to think something like that could actually be fact. We're giving it a few more days and then hope to encourage another neighbour to report it.
I'm so chicken

I would definitely report it to the police. Although, it seems like if it's been there for that long they would've traced the license plate by now or something. It does make you wonder if there's some kind of a crime that it was involved in though. Maybe it just belongs to one of the neighbors, but then again, you never know. I'd still report it just in case there was somebody abducted and locked in the trunk or something like that. (Too bad we have to think of these things in this day and age, but unfortunately, it's been known to happen)

I know what you mean.
There was a story in the news a couple years ago about something similar to that.
Scary stuff!

You could be right in speculating. My guess is it is a stolen car that has been abandons. Why not make a report explaining the length of time it has been there, and that the tires are going flat, an no one knows who owns it. Make sure you write down the licences plate number so you have it to give to the police when you call.I would definately do that if it were me. Good luck and keep us posted please. You have us all curious now lol.

I wish I would have written the license plate number somewhere - before it was driven off under cover of night.
Just after all the neighbors took a bigger interest in finding the owner, it was gone. Really makes one wonder huh!

It was a reject from a chop shop. They got an order to go for a certain car, assuming it so many usable parts in it, that they left it there along with the body of the one who told them about it, but his body is not in the trunk. No it is the tire that should have replaced that flat tire along with a false Tv repair uniform, a stale pizza, and an old car radio that they wanted to get rid of.

Oh noooooo! That poor chop shop reject.
I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for it now.
