I have a dream these days....I know that it is foolish, but I cannot help dreaming about finding a person (a woman would be better than a man to avoid unpleasant emotional complications, but also a man would do if he is indeed what I am dreaming of)who would like to correspond with me, emails and letters,too..and write about our writing passion and poetry and literature and books and art and movies and music..a sort of kindred spirit to discuss our artistic interests in a way I love in my favourite books or authors. Have you ever dreamt about this? Is there anybody who feels the same?

We all have such dreams, specially when we feel we are left out amd missing the fun of being together and sharing, discussing about poetry, literature, books, music - our passions and also our worries, our loves, our vulnerabilities. It's about sharing and fighting (which is kind of sharing as well). I am no exception, maribea. I feel, I want to have someone, preferably a man but then that's less important, who would understand me and respect my feelings and be with be no matter what. Still searching for that "Gentleman"... You and I on the same platform, still, sweet heart.

you are very close to my heart, my dear. I am looking for a friend, indeed, not a man because I am not ready to allow any man into my heart, not yet. But I have so many passions and love writing and so I dream of such a correspondence!!!

Maribea, I know what you mean. Its very difficult to get one like minded person with whom we can share our likings and flourish our knowledge by reciprocation. THis process of sharing is really enriching and kind of gives life. I am sure you will get someone very soon. smiles...

Oh my dear dear friend - I can't say I've ever had a dream dream such as this but so very many times in my life I've thought how nice it would be to have a friend like you dreamed of. There have been times that I thought I may have found someone like that but it always seems either their schedual or mine gets in the way. Often I think I just don't have time for real friends but then I think maybe that's part of being a real friend - making time for them or accepting them even when the timing isn't right. Honestly this may sound funny but right now I think of you as one of my closest and dearest friends even though we've never met and live very different lives. You are special to me and I appreciate your being who you are.

Wow with a schedual like your I certainly do understand your not being on myLot much - I'm the same way kinda hit and miss as to when and how much I'm here. I keep thinking I'm going to find more time to visit but then another project comes up. I am very thankful for your friendship as well as several others here - ships passing on the internet but comforting to see those lights in the distance.

my dear dear faith, it is ages since I have been here because this is a very busy period of my life...I have just undertaken the written part of my Cambridge examination and I am due for the oral session on Sunday and then on Wednesday I am discussing my final paper for my PhD in neuroscience.. Then I am supposed to have a bit of rest for Christmas...Your words are so sweet for me and I do appreciate them...thank you for being my friend...this is a very bad period of my life as far as friendship is concerned but I cherish the few friends I have and I consider you a friend of mine even though we live so far apart. Have a nice day and write to me whenever you can.

If you try too hard, you wan't find that person. But if you relax, they may come to you.

oh I am not trying very hard, indeed...I mean, I don't want to find a man...I wish I could find a soul in love with arts like me...but this is only a wish, a dream...something we can put aside and live as usual...just thinking that there is something more and something missing and how wonderful life would be if we ever find what we are looking for...until then I can do without and I am doing without...I am here discussing my passions with you all and I keep on writing and dancing and reading and listening to music and going to museums for my personal pleasure.
