Should I Go Do The Lottery?:)

Sorry Lakota... I was in high spirits when I posted this, and the Lotto was kind of a joke. :) Forgive me? In fact, I have had three, really special gifts in the past two or three weeks, all of which I will treasure for the grace and love in which they were given, namely my Faery Journal, the Feathers and the Runes. I shouldn't be hoping for more... that was selfish of me in a frivolous moment, but hey!!! I might do the Lotto yet, because my prediction was that my luck would change mid-November and possibly my whole life, turn around!!! ha ha ha So... why not??? lol. Hi Faith, my dear friend. I have come down from Cloud Nine now, and thought long and hard about what I want from life... I don't need money. I have what I need in abundance, which is good friends, like you; my family; my health; love and my beliefs. In other words, I've "grounded" and changed my mind. I am sooooo rich in the simple things which make life good, that I don't need any superficial gains. I already received three, very treasured gifts in the past two or three weeks, in my Faery Journal, A Bunch of Special, Meaningful Feathers, and my Runes. Yes, I've won small amounts at times, I think 1 x £54, 1 x £68 and 1 x £72, plus lots of £10 prizes. However, I don't do the lottery any longer... this was more a heading to show how happy and excited I was. I have some lovely friends, a roof over my head, eat well and have my health. Those and my family and hard-earned money, make my life worthwhile. I don't need a fortune in cash, when I have all those riches. Brightest Blessings.

Yes... well perceived, Fanji... I was humorous, or in high spirits, and you spotted that! :) I don't do the lottery very much at all. When it first started, I did it every week, and I did win three prizes between £50 and £74, but in the main, just £10 prizes. It's not a thing that excites me really... it was meant more as a joke. Chances are indeed, very small on winning a larger amount and what would we do with it, if we had it. I really wish we didn't need money in this life of ours, but the fact is, it has become a real necessity, so it doesn't hurt, I guess, to want to find ways of "earning" or "gaining" money. However, having said that... with the friends I have around me, my family and the nature with which we've been gifted, I will probably find far more quality of life without. Still, as you say, it doesn't hurt to take a chance, and as I would love to travel more, why not? I think I might go for it! ha ha ha. Brightest Blessings.

Raia, my dear friend.... firstly, I feel the need to apologise for in my moment of euphoria, I neglected the fact that I have indeed had three, very special moments, even without the business package and other happenings. I meant the lottery to be a bit of a joke, to express my happiness at the time of knowing I was to receive the runes. I was in high spirits at the time, as Roz pointed out! :) BUT, what I didn't stop to think about before acting so rashly was that over the past two or three weeks, I HAVE received three of the most treasured gifts of my life, not counting my children and grandchildren. You and two other very good friends of mine elected to make or choose, bless and send/give me, in order of receipt, a faery journal, a bundle of very meaningful and spiritual feathers and a set of hand crafted runes. Each of these was chosen to be gifted to me because I was cared for, and each of them was an essential part of all I believe in. Nevertheless... I was so high at the prospect of getting my runes at last, that I strayed from all that means anything in life to me, and in one selfish moment, forgot those who really make my life worthwhile. Thank you my dear friend, for reminding me of this, and indeed the others, whose responses have brought tears to my eyes. Please forgive my folly! Brightest Blessings, in love and light. xx
