Does anyone have any advise or exprience with step teenagers

I have three step teenagers 2 girls and one boy. The girls are great but no matter how hard I have tried with the boy, I can't seem to win him over?

You might never win him over. The good news is that's not your job. He doesn't have to like you, just respect you. Remember that. If he insists on being emotionally unavailable to you then make sure you counter it with a perpetual open door policy to all things parental but don't stress over whether or not he ever walks through it. He might not. That's life.

Thank you for your comments. I had to asked him to leave because he was starting to throw thing at his mother when he was told no on something. He respects me because I am a male, but when I was not home he would tried to take over the house.
