Has anyone noticed that the "number" tagger is at it again?

Hi Ctrymuziklvr, Umm, why does it matter? I dont get it I guess. Does it throw the discussion off or something if you put a number instead of a word? I dont tag too much, unless I start the discussion, and even then I dont really do but jut a couple of them. I mean I know it helps when people are looking things up, but what else is it good for? Somehow I have the feeling that it's just someone with nothing better to do, or not enough brain cells to formulate a word for a tag. LOL! Hey...at least they are providing us smartypants members with amusement! Hahahaha!

Well I always avoid tags being added that show up on my discussions in a simple way. You are allowed to add up to 10 tags. I actually believe it's 10 words. But if you start a discussion and add the max tags any other tags that a respondee adds won't show up affecting the tags that members see below the discussion. Try it this way. I always add the max. No I haven't seen anyone puts numbers in tag labels, but I will come across someone who seems to love to put offending words on tags, and if you'll notice the culprit has been at it on the tags here, cause I noticed someone put dumba$$ --and it's not censored!

I have some on my posts too, in my started discussions to be exact. I noticed it I think a couple of months ago, but just ignored it since I think it was just a typo on putting their tags. But I realized that it was happening also on other posts, that sometimes the "number" tag has nothing to do with what the post is all about. I don't really know who this person/people was/were, but I am hoping that mylot would investigate it and BAN whoever they are. Tagging is important as it classifies the post itself, there's no need to abuse or put some irrelevant tags if people don't have any exact knowledge of what they are doing here.

"they just gave me something to discuss" That's a good way of looking at it. I have noticed it before and tried to figure out what it was all about. I think it was their post count for the day. If they'd written out the word for the number I bet no one would have even notied or at least not as many people.

What a bizarre thing for someone to do and well done to you for thinking of starting a discussion about this nutter and helping you to earn more dosh! Still chuckling, hope the number tagger doesn't come and tag this discussion, as that would be even funnier! :)

I didn't know about this, ctry. Are they actually using numbers as a response? You are right, some of these people are a little daft.

I don't bother tagging anyone's discussions, but I will tag my own. honestly I don't really look at what people add to my tags often. Though I had a small spell where everything I posted was getting a mature content tag put on it. I guess they just knew I had a dirty mind. LOL It is weird but I rarely look at the tags of mine or anyone else's discussions.

Well, I don't have noticed that kind of Tagger. Hehe, yep, never mind, someone just want to reply to a discussion just to earn some money as you do. Andy

Hi ctry, This is ridiculous! I have found user names as the tags before. Many users put their names in the tags in order to find it on searching. And recently I have found may user names with random numbers!! Could it be possible that the same users put their user names, which are apparently random numbers, as tags?

I have not noticed this to be honest. I am not going to worry about it either. I can see where you're coming from, but it is not something I am going to give second thought too beyond responding to the discussion to help you out.

I actually know who does this, but they are on my friend list and I don't want to anger them. I know, I know, it annoys me too.

Hi ctry, I have noticed numbers in the tags before, but didn't think too much of it. One day I noticed a number and tried to figure out what it stood for. It just did not make any sense to me. Could it just be someone counting their entries for the day or something? Maybe it is just someone who doesn't understand what tags are or what their use is. Happy posting..

I do tag sometimes i dont if not necessary. I dont add up oin tagging too. And good on yah..you come up with this discussions and yes you make more money out of it LOL!
