canadian friendships

i would like to start up some mylot friendships with canadians who would like to converse with me on mylot. i am moving to cape breton, nova scotia, canada this spring of 2008, and i sure do need some advise from canadian friends. i posted a note yesterday under cape breton, nova scotia, discussing my relocating plans for next spring, but no responses yet!! maybe i'm being too limited and missing out on other responses. my dad was french canandian, and a lot of his brothers & sisters were born in cananda...french was his first language. he died in 2005 and my mom 15 months later, so i have no one to turn to for advice. thanking you in advance for all your help, stanzi2007

I am from australia and I know there is a few Aussies here but I am not sure how many Canadians there are, I do remember seeing a few, it would be nice for you to meets some fellow Canadians in here...

dear lilaclady...thanks for your response, yes, lately i've met some nice Canadians on mylot...also, i wanted to ask you, on another topic..being from Australia have you ever saw actor Russell Crowe over there? That would be the ultimate rush, to see him...stanzi

hahahaha no I have seen Russell Crowe in the real but I do remember seeing him in a few local shows when he was very very young...
